We are currently seeking a Full-Time Processing Technician to join the LifeNet Health team in our Renton, WA location.
A Processing Technician performs all aspects of processing, preservation and storage of tissues in a FDA regulated environment. Works in a team environment under aseptic conditions while performing controlled production processes. Performs quality assessments of tissue products and documentation.
You would be expected to perform all tasks assigned to you, including but not limited to:
Performs all aspects of processing tissue (debridement, dissection, cutting, cleaning and disinfection, sizing, assessing) according to current procedures and protocols.Performs all aspects of packaging and preservation of tissue products (confirmation of sizing, quality, packaging materials, cryopreservation, etc.) according to current procedures and protocols.Documents all processes and functions performed in accordance with all procedures and protocols.Performs post-processing decontamination of equipment and the processing room according to current procedures and protocols.Performs post production and/or post packaging documentation review and data entry according to current procedures and protocols.Reviews work orders or processing instructions/scheduling prior to initiating production. Works with production supervisors to adjust plans as needed.Assists supervisory team in production enhancement and improvement initiatives.Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree Life Sciences, Allied Health, Business Administration or related fieldCTBS Certification Certified Tissue Banking SpecialistPrevious Experience Tissue Processing, Tissue Recovery, Manufacturing, Operations, Surgical Tech, or other closely relatedTechnical Skills General knowledge of anatomy; Able to use and/or operate Surgical Instrumentation and Equipment which may include, Power Tools, Saws, Cryopreservation Units, LN2 Freezers; Aseptic TechniqueGet to Know LifeNet Health:
